“I own this unit and have used it for private functions as well as Florida BBQ Association competitions. I would highly recommend this unit to someone just starting out on the competition circuit as it can be run by a single person and creates great results. Plus there is lots of space on the cooker for your "big" meats. I can easily fit 2 /20 lb. briskets and 2 /10lb. shoulders on the main grill leaving plenty of room on the top shelf for ribs and/or chicken. I don't recommend grilling over the live coals as that reaches temps of 700 or better. In fact, I have removed that cooking grate altogether”
