The layered circular motif of the face and the striking blue hands reminiscent of the iconic crown of the Chrysler Building, the radiating spiral at center ever expanding with the seconds, the comfortable offset crown that centers the balance wheel in the face window so the movement's beating heart is always on display. “In addition to having some classic dress watches, divers and pilots in my collection, I am ever on the hunt for the unusual and out of the box. I certainly found it in this Xeric. The build quality is impressive, and the design details are really well executed. Even the buckle is nicely angled to fit the curve of the wrist ergonomically (never seen that before!). Though I wouln't have known it from the pictures, the beautiful deco design covering half the watch face is covered by the sapphire crystal. Smooth. Sits very nicely on my relatively small wrist too. Love the unusual layout of the dial, which though unconventional takes no time to learn. Beautiful detail work even on the back of the watch, with the 1/2 window.
