I really love this watch! I have been wearing it for almost a week now. Today, two coworkers complimented me on the watch. As far as I can tell, it keeps very good time. It doesn't appear to be too slow or too fast. Also, I keep it in a watch winder at night, which I bought at an online store for about $80.00. One reason I bought the watch winder, was because of how much I really like Xeric watches---I have preordered the Halograph II, which means I'll keep one watch in the winder while I show off the other! I also expect delivery of another Xeric watch in a few days, which isn't an automatic and I'll leave reviews for those great watches after I receive them. Thank you Xeric for offering these wonderful watches! Highly recommended!

Overall, this is a very unusual and eye-catching watch. Functionally it is very good. The reason I have not rated it higher is primary do to with the strap rather than the watch. Firstly, for the stainless steel strap option, the strap should be designed to sit seamlessly against the case of the watch, as is the case with the vast majority of such straps. That would really improve the overall look I think. Secondly, on the stainless steel strap there is no way of doing very minor adjustments on the clasp to ensure a correct fit. the only option is to remove a link in the strap. For me, I removed several links to get the correct fit (not too loose and not too tight). However, the difference between one and the other is quite large, so one was too loose (hanging down my wrist and moving too much) and the other was that bit too tight. Usually on the clasp there are 3 or 4 holes that will allow for a more precise fitting, a matter of millimeters, which can make a big difference, but this watch does not provide that. The result being that I cannot actually use the steel strap I on my watch. This meant I had to buy a new strap. On the website they suggest that a brown leather strap would work best with this watch, but personally I just don't see that, as the watch is very funky and quite futuristic, and a brown leather strap does not really work well with it. I bought a blue carbon fibre strap and it works a lot better, but it cost me extra of course. So, in conclusion, for a watch of this prize I would expect a strap that sits flush with the case and one which can be altered to ensure a correct fit on one's wrist.
