A great "stealth" combo, it works great with cool blue jeans, black shirts, but has enough grey and blue to work with lighter colors. Additionally, it's so different in design from the rest. “I want to give the watch 2.5 stars out of 5. Squarely in the middle. It functions and tells time.
However, if you are in the market for a xeric would, that means you are in the market for an eye catching and conversation starting watch.
I would strongly recommend against this particular color. I was really excited to get a xeric watch but then decided to get a watch with more muted colors because I didnt want it to be TOO eye catching and I didnt want to have conversations about it all day long.
The blue slate automatic regulator has been on my wrist for a few weeks now and has not been noticed once. Like I said, I didnt want to be talking about it multiple times per day. I also did not expect that it would be SO unobtrusive that it would not be noticed.
That all being said, this review took me well over a week to post. I have no idea why my original post was flagged, it pretty much said the same thing. I would take the overall review score with a major grain of salt because it appears that multiple 5 star reviews were posted after my fairly negative review.
Buyer beware, the colors are very muted, go for something more striking if you are in the market for a xeric watch.”

“I absolutely love the look of this watch. The color I chose, unbeknownst to me at the time, however is a bit dark and difficult to see (tell the time) when lighting is dim. If exposed to enough light prior to going into a dimly-lit location, the hands will glow, yet for me, more often than not, I'm not in bright enough light to charge the glowing material. Also, as someone who switches watches occasionally, I determined that this watch is best served by being left on a winder.”
