“I love this watch. It looks so cool. It's always cool when someone asks how I can tell the time because I can explain it and it's so simple but you might not guess it from just looking at first. The leather is great quality and doesn't show any wear after a few weeks of constant wearing (taking off each night and putting on each morning). The only negative that I have is the glowing effect. It doesn't hold a "charge" for long at all. I would have loved to be able to see that glow every time it gets dark but the natural light isn't enough to charge it, so you have to put it under a bright light for a little while. I left it for hours under one and it didn't keep the charge for very long. Still neat but not a useful feature. So if you want a watch you can read in the dark, I don't think this is the watch for you. But if you like the theme and look and don't care so much for that ability then the glow is just an extra cool thing.”

“I purchased the silver and black I guess what they call "limited edition "on Kickstarter 4 months ago ,and just received it today. Now come to find out the exact same watch minus an exhibition caseback is actually a dollar cheaper than I spent. I'm just wondering why I ordered this in advance and waited 4 months for a watch I could have got right now for a dollar less? The rotor is wonderfully balanced and spins ultra-fast, which must charge the watch quickly, but beyond that and the exhibition caseback this watch is precisely the same. And its not like an 8205 Miyota is nice to look at, in fact I think I'd prefer the solid case backs seen here today. Come to find out the color I chose is the one that's even cheaper now, which makes me even more disappointed that I should have gone for the red or the green versions. Needless to say this will be the last time I ever donate anything on Kickstarter hoping to get a smoking deaL, which in this case I obviously haven't! Although the exhibition caseback is nice, it hardly warrants a limited edition in any capacity. And to be honest, this being a conversation piece and not much of a daily , I was looking to flip it on anyways. it looks like that is now just a pipe dream. I'm disappointed and underwhelmed. The watch itself is cool AND original, but the finishing on the case seems to be very unorganized and half ass-d . The brushing and satin-finishes seem to be very inconsistent around the lip of the crystal, on the side of the case, and on the lugs. It just isn't done uniformly and it's somewhat poor to be honest. In hindsight I wouldn't have bought this watch to be perfectly Frank. The horween leather is extremely disappointing as well and has more of a plastic texture to me and not a plush quality leather, it definitely feels like synthetic and Bends very very easily. I tried it on for a picture one time and it's already permanently creased , it definitely requires a deployment clasp in which I'm going to put on right now for my listing on eBay . this is almost a requirement!! if you didn't use a deploy, it would be toast in a month of daily use. Although I was anticipating the fact, it is very very hard to tell the time, in fact barely is even legible as a time-telling device, more of a mosaic piece of art. You really have to concentrate hard to make out the time in any lighting conditions, of course this gets better at night Under full Lum which is essentially the only time this watch would even work for me. I'm underwhelmed and disappointed and really feel like xeric has made out on me with a great kickstarter marketing scheme, and a glowing review from my man down under " JUST ONE MORE WATCH" I COULDNT DISAGREE WITH HIM HARDER THAN THIS ONE !!! THEy did really really well on this Kickstarter campaign, and it still took them months to deliver which I find not really acceptable considering they generated millions and millions of dollars.
Xeric was an established company, I will never use Kickstarter again knowing that they made Millions on this campaign and already we're an established company, I now question the motives of anybody on Kickstarter and any company using it. Underwhelming to say the least. Just FYI I also feel that the moon landing is one of the greatest hoaxes of all time and we never made it to the moon, ask the Russians about the radiation field halfway between the moon and the Earth that they were unable to fly a spacecraft through without it Vanishing into space Oblivion, kind of like I hope this watch does on my eBay auction soon! Sorry, I'm not trying to be a hater, but for my first Kickstarter experience I feel like I've been duped”
