“I had previously purchased an android head unit from another website. Unfortunately, it only lasted about ten minutes,that went back. So I started to search for a branded name, that's when I came across Xtrons uk. They had what looked very similar to the previous unit that got sent back except that it had more ram and a better cpu. It was delivered quickly and very well packed, upon opening the branded box it became very clear that this was a much better unit. Installation was very easy and the nine inch screen looked amazing. Now I was replacing an older Pioneer double din stereo, so I was a bit concerned that the sound quality might not be as good, well I can honestly say that it totally amazed me! Once I set up the equalizer and got the ballance side to side, back to back just right I could hear different notes that I previously couldn't. The unit does come with the licensed Google play store so you can safely log into you Google account and get full access to all the playstore apps. I'm sure you can do the same with apple carplay. The screen is just like a tablet or iPad, you can swipe through the menus and everything is smooth, no lag whatsoever. Android auto works perfectly, I also installed a hd reversing camera and the picture quality is amazing. The unit itself has excellent heat dispersion with with the large aluminium cooling fins on the rear. There are lots of connections for a sub, reversing camera, two USB cables, plus lots more. So if you want to bring your car up to date with modern technology I can honestly recommend Xtrons uk.”
