“I bought the VW/Skoda/Seat 9" Android Head Unit Car Stereo Apple CarPlay & Android Auto | IXA94MTVL unit for my 2014 VW Caddy Life. Fitting was so easy once I had watched a YouTube video on how to install. Refitting the ACP took around 30 mins, would probably be quicker now I know how. As for the product, sound quality (obviously depending on your speakers) was amazing, responsive touch screen to navigate all apps and connected in seconds. Would highly recommend if you want to bring an old system up to date.”

“Xtrons are sometimes seen as a "cheap" brand but I've had nothign but good experiences for a good 15 years, I've had 4 or 5 units of various types and also the accessories like DAB and OBD The techincal support has improved so much now and within a couple of days I had a clear and accurate response to my request. Wayne”

“Ich habe etwas mit der Einrichtung für Car-Play gebraucht aber sonst alles perfekt sehr übersichtlich und Top Soft und Hardware. Super zufrieden. Ich hatte in meinem alten Auto ein Pioneer Radio welches doppelt so teuer war ich muss nach kurzer Zeit feststellen, dass das Xtrons Radio deutlich besser und geschmeidiger läuft. Auch meine Freunde waren verwundert wie viel besser es ist.”

“I am very disappointed with my experience. I received a defective unit, and the customer service team's response time and frequency of communication were both frustratingly slow. I expected much better support for a product like this. It took much effort to get the RMA process going - it was a week of back and forth to finally get a return address. Plus the package mysterously dissappeared after a signature required confirmation and I was forced to start the long process of claim/tracking on my own. After another week, the package miraculously appeared and the credit was issued and replacement finally sent.”

“The head unit arrived the next day was well packaged with all everything need to do the install. I have fitted the head unit into my car was very easy and works as it should the sound is amazing sounds better than the original head unit. I would definitely buy for another vehicle in the future”

“The product was finally installed in my Fiat Pop. Good part, The fitting is flush. Product added all the latest features to your old car. Runs right off the bat. Enhancement needed: The app store needs to remove all the older version themes, provide more documentation around the GUI. Enhance the bluetooth connectivity. Overall, an impressive product and good pre-sales support to get answer all your queries. KUDOS to Stella from Xtrons.”

“I'm not a professional installer, but ordering from Xtrons was low stress. The unit arrived really fast (2 days, to Aberdeenshire) and looks great and was a perfect fit. We did need to contact customer support to resolve an issue with the cabling. But they were very helpful and responsive. The new unit is now working and is a delight to use and a real step up from the original unit. Would definitely recommend!”

“A fabulous product and very quick to install. The only downside is needing a seperate aux lead on certain bmw models, rather than taking a direct feed from the loom. Also the unit could do with a slot for SIM cards on the head unit and in built GPS antenna, rather than running seperate connections.”

“I am having lots of issues with XTRONS 12.3" Nano Texture 2K Screen Android 14 Car Stereo for Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212/S212 | Qualcomm 662 8-Core 8GB RAM 128GB SSD | Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto | QBMH2440M12EL. 1- there is no radio reception on the unit so I can't listen the the radio, I only used the one from the car unit. 2- there is no sound on google maps or any other map application (her we go) I can only hear the voice if i switch the audio to AUX, but then I can't listen the radio. I have tried many suggestions from Utube and internet (AI) but the fixes they suggest don't work on my unit, some of the menues mentioned don't exist.”

To clarify: the device sends audio to your car's system through the AUX input. This means you'll need to choose between listening to the car radio or the device's output—they can't play at the same time. As an alternative, you might consider using an online radio app on your head unit, which would stream through the device and work alongside your navigation or calls. One more question: did you connect the mini speaker? When the car radio is on (and the device isn't playing through the AUX channel), navigation prompts and phone calls will still come through that small speaker, so you won't miss important alerts. “in short , the OBD item does indee wok but only when using a cell phone. I purchased the item witht the intention of pairing it against my XTRONS Android head unit . However despite many attempts itm fails to connect even after it has been found after scanning. Looking at some videos it suggests changing PIn in head unt to ether 0000 or 1234 , this has been done but still no pairing . The head unit also does not allow pairing devices in android settings so at a loss how this OBD would ever connect . Overall the unit both are good quality however shame I cant use both OBD and head unit to their full potential”
