“My particular unit is mis-interpreting the signals from the CanBus decoder. It thinks the car is in reverse at all times. The signals from the little decoder box are 100% so it must be the head unit at fault. That's a shame as it fits the vehicle perfectly and the functionality is great.
The only other thing to mention is that my Passat has the under seat subwoofer which this head unit does not power, so it sounds considerably worse than the factory unit. I was expecting this so haven't marked it down for that. Just a point to note for any potential purchasers.”
