“I like the manual controls as part of the normal dial based rainbird controller. It makes it easy for an outsider to control the system. I also like the ability to buy a small module and add a number of stations on the backplane. The User interface inside the app is mostly pretty good. The only peculiarity I see is that there is no obvious status of the rain sensor unless it is filled with water and turns off the schedule. I'd like to see a box dedicated to the sensor (maybe green if open and red if closed). I found it complicated to turn on a single zone and immediately turn it off...I had to navigate into multiple levels to turn it off. You require a special app to control this controller...I'd like to see a web app so that anyone could remotely control it given the password and such. This is just a philosophical difference (app vs web) and I can live with this. Overall I like the device and would recommend it to anyone who needs a manual and wireless controller. I replaced an existing web based controller in favor of this one. The good news is that the app contains more features than my previous web based one (test mode is one, water budget another).”
