I adore the smell, texture (doesn't make you feel oily) and of course the results. I do have good skin but I feel it's very important to look after it. “I put my blind faith in these products after having heard about it through my cousin, Hozaifa, who has the entire YK brand. Living in the US, I never knew who Yasmin was, but after being disappointed with my skin time and time again I decided to give these products a go.
After hearing about her products for years, I finally took advantage of the Easter sale for the first time not knowing what to expect.
I ordered pretty much YK’s entire website but since this review is for the Desert Island let me start there:
I have suffered from acne, skin pitting, and dark pigmentation as a result basically my entire life. Now in my 30’s, I have dark spots, pitted skin along with fine lines.
Though I have only been using the Desert Island a month, I feel as though it has improved the texture on my skin( pores are shrinking), tightened my skin and lightened the dark pigmentation. ( My mum even noticed and Mum’s don’t lie) I still have ways to go, but it’s 100% in the works.
Aside from the skin benefits from this product, I find that it has improved my sleep insanely. I couldn’t get used to the smell at first, but now I cannot be without this. The relaxing, calming, deep sleep feel this oil gives me is like no other & it is my favorite part of my skincare.
I have used this not only as a face oil, but massaged a few drops on my knee when I injured it. The instant relief I felt is beyond words and there is just something magical about this product that I cannot explain.
I’ve tried highly rated products reviewed again and again to no avail. I have to say, with my hand on my heart, nothing has changed my life like the Desert Island.
Sadly I dropped 1/2 the bottle while using it, but I will be ordering more. Shipping to the US is definitely more expensive, and that is a price I am willing to pay for this product. I am obsessed!
P.S. the packaging is the cherry on top of the cake. It gives a very luxurious feel, like you’re paying for what you get.”
