“I have been purchasing the YK Desert Island for a few years now. I had such bad pigmentation.
This is the most favourite oil of mine.
I have noticed my pigmentation has most definitely reduced, faded away. My skin is most definitely clearer, nourished and hydrated!
At night after I cleanse I apply it after I have toned my skin.
As I apply it on my face it feels like my skin is soaking up the goodness of the ingredients in this bottle. 100% pure plant extract by the way.
It Glides on without looking or feeling too greasy, very light.
I feel my skin is being nourished and replenished. Botox tightening feel.
The aroma gives a nice uplift relaxed feel to end the day. Reduces my stress and anxiety’s, mentality relaxing.
I have used it during the day too. It’s works fine with my foundation.
I would encourage anyone with hyperpigmentation, reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Reduces uneven toned skin. It’s brightening and lighting.

“So I don’t usually do product reviews BUT I don’t usually repurchase products either. So if I do its a BIG deal! If you know me you know that I love playing with makeup and skincare..I purchase loads and mostly just move through different products because there isn’t much I’ve tried that has wowed me.. I honestly find @yasminkarimi products to be different and something special and this oil in particular I have repurchased several times - this is probably my third bottle. I’m almost out of it and I have another one on the way because I don’t want to be without it, its THAT amazing to me!
I use it nightly before bed and its my favourite part of my skincare routine. It smells amazing and leaves my skin nourished, hydrated and radiant. This oil has improved my skin texture and dullness so much. If my skin is acting up I can rely on this to improve my skin tone and to bring it back to looking healthy again. It also has the added benefit of being deeply relaxing and calming and it actually helps me sleep!! (Which is so important to me as a mum of 2)

“I have purchased the Desert Island oil many times as this is a product I do not want to be without. It comes with me on my travels and is a staple along side the YK Glow face serum. I have struggled with adult cystic acne after having flawless skin throughout my teens and 20s. When my skin started to misbehave, believe me when I say, I tried everything under the sun, home made remedies, organic skin care companies the lot. I decided to take one last leap of faith with YK and I am grateful for doing so. The cystic acne was painful and the Desert Island Oil healed my skin, from first use there was an immediate relief and with continuous use, slowly but effectively, my skin began to heal and scarring started to disappear.It truly is miraculous and very healing. “This is such a amazing oil, it feels lovely and soft on the skin without leaving a greasy feel. I have trouble with stubborn acne scars which I feel paranoid about but this magic oil really helps with the scarring, the key is to use it on a daily basis for best results.

“Looove the smell. I had a reaction to medication I was on so have not been able to use product as much as I wanted to. From what I have use I think this is great not to greasy on the skin even though it's an oil. Skin does not feel clogged.”
