I have had a similar chair from HON for 10+ years that has held up remarkably well. The base cushion is still good so when I started working from home, I wanted to get the same chair. Unfortunately, HON doesn't make the same model as what I've got in the office, but this appeared to be the closest in adjustability and appearance. This is close, but not the same. Regarding adjustability, this has plenty of height adjustment. I can go from feeling like I'm almost sitting on the floor, to close to sitting at a bar stool where my feet don't touch the ground. I"m 5' 10". The seat back adjusts up and down to provide good lumbar support right where I need it. The seat back can also be adjusted forward or backward depending on your preference. In addition to this, the base also tilts forward or backward to lock it into a comfortable position. The adjustability of this chair is GREAT! If you can't find a comfortable position, chances are you won't ever find a chair that works for you. No to the disappointing part. The seat cushion isn't as robust as the older model that I have at the office. Meaning, my 190 lbs. is probably a little above the limit of long-use comfort for this chair. Having said that, I have a $20 seat cushion that I had been using with a folding chair for a few months before I committed to purchasing a "real" chair for the home office. The separate seat cushion is approximately 3" thick and due to the adjustability of this chair, works perfectly! I was able to adjust the seat back height to still have proper lumbar support even with the extra 3" add-on cushion. Without the add-on seat cushion, I rate this chair at a solid 4 for it's fantastic amount of adjustability. With the add-on cushion, It's an easy 5 stars.
