“I have been using a 200-ft zip line without a brake and the sudden stop at the end was very jarring, if not dangerous. I tightened the cable recently and it became way too fast. This brake slows even the heavier rider down gradually. It’s perfect. The only problem I have is because of the geometry of my trees, which means the bungee hangs down at about shoulder level, which means kids can grab it or get caught in it.”
