Claims service is excellent but general customer service is appalling - I tried to insure a second car online, where it was advertised that I was entitled to £50 off the second car policy as an existing customer- the quote I was given was more expensive than the quote I got through Compare the Market - when I rang customer service, they were very unhelpful and told me that the £50 offer was subject to terms and conditions - yet when I asked them to explain why I was not entitled to the offer, they wouldn't give me that information. Overall very poor and the only reason I ensured with them is that the claims service is very good. I will go elsewhere next year.
