Called RAC, paid an additional £85 as I wasn’t in my car for assistance. Received a text saying wait time was 240 mins, then it was 90 mins, then a further two text messages saying an update will be provided in 30 mins. Called RAC for an update was told ETA was 90 mins. Eventually managed to speak to someone who couldn’t provide an ETA, just said the wait time is over 4hrs. I was on my own, it was after midnight. In the end cancelled the breakdown and called a friend to help. Not impressed and won’t extend cover. Next issue is getting my £85 back.
