I purchased 2 Lazboy chairs from you as they came with a 10 year warranty. 5 years later one chair has a broken leg rest mechanism and according to your engineer the other chair is in the process of breaking in exactly the same way. The replacement parts have been on order for almost a year. After 6 months wait we sent some spare parts which were the wrong parts. Now despite the 10 year warranty you have made the paltry offer of £183.66 towards new chairs as apparently you cannot fix them. This is for 2 chairs that will cost me more than £2000 to replace. The reason your customer service representative gave me was because you were applying a "useage charge". What is that? Was I supposed to just look at them? I bought them to sit in. Why give the promise of a 10 year warranty when you do not intend to honour it? Why is there no mention of a "useage charge" in the warranty paperwork? This seems intentionally misleading to the customer and is possibly definable as fraudulent. On top of that you have also charged me £60 for your service man to come out as the fault developed after the first 12 months, that apparently you keep and is included in the £183.66 offer to set against replacing the furniture, so I'm only really being offered £123.66 to replace these chairs Did you really think I would accept that and be stupid enough to purchase anything from you ever again? Your customer service was distinctly uninterested in my complaint. When I asked to speak to a manager she said she could put me through to a "Team Leader". They were not available and I am awaiting a call back. I wont be holding my breath.
