I've had my akracing max chair for a few days now so only time will tell if it holds up. But my first impression is wow, the material feels soft to the touch. The padding is thick and makes you feel like your sitting on a chair 4 times the price. It does infact feel good for lumbar support. However ive already noticed some minor issues with the chair. The arm rests have got padding However when I was doing my re search prior to purchasing i couldn't find any information about if they had padding or if they are just hard plastic. Well I can put your minds at ease. Yes it has padding, although it feels like Styrofoam wrapped in vinyl. (Not bad but not great. It would be nice if they had the same material on them as the rest of the chair.) The armrests could also do with a lock as I noticed that pushing off from them to stand up causes them to move (no big deal but annoying) I am 6 foot 4, and find i fit perfectly in the chair However the headrest does sit low so I just push it up when I sit down. The lumbar pillow straps have alot of slack in them so I ended up looping them through the headrest mount which has tightend the slack and stopped the pillow from dropping down when not being sat on. Overall the chair is amazing and I couldn't praise them enough. I spent months looking at different products and reviews from all different suppliers and at the end of the day. If you want a chair that is plush, looks good, is well priced and looks like it will last a long time then I'd say look no further. And akracing if you redesign the armrests to have the position lock and have a nicer wrapping for the arm support id be more than happy to order them.
