Overall, I have always been happy with aldi, both the quality of product and the customer service (sometimes a long wait at the checkout, but that I can live with...a moment of quiet contemplation) However, I bought a vegan rainbow pie on impulse. My son is vegan by necessity, myself by choice. Oh dear....what a horror this was, soggy pastry, tasteless filling. Specially Selected.to ruin my day. I am not one to complain, but this was truly horrible eating experience. Sadly they used to sell a Chipotle pie that was lovely, disappeared just before Easter. Hey ho, put this down to experience
