I popped into my local Winchester branch of Aldi's this evening after a long drive home.
At the checkout I was TOLD to put my flat folded bag on the conveyer belt. This was examined by the assistant and proved to be empty.
I was fuming, but too tired after my journey to speak to the manager as I new I would be fobbed off.
I know shops have a problem with shop lifting, but that's not my fault. Treating honest customers as thieves is not the way to go. I have looked on various websites this evening and found that many of your customers have experienced the same treatment, and feel as I do.
Needless to say I won't be coming back to your store until you have stopped treating me and the many, many honest customers as thieves. I don't like being treated as one.
