The thing is that all these people are missing the point aren't they. If anyone chooses to read ALL the reviews here they will see a pattern emerges overall that this company rank low down the list for kindness to customers, especially the elderly and less able. As for their quality it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that cheap never is good with food. Fair prices yes, but because of the dreadful Aldi quality it can never be fair, and good. The two never mix with food or any other items they sell. Low income stores will always churn out bad quality, won't they, and I am not knocking anyone on a low income, or benefits. Lidl is no better except that their stores are generally clean and tidy. I know a few people who shop in Aldi and all, without exception, do so because they have to, and not through choice.
