Bought a car end of Dec 21,had it 9 days under my 30 day warrenty and gear box broke.10days later there is no sign of a repair being done as they are unable to recover a pair from main dealer of the make of car. I spoke to general manager and told him that if the part hasn't arrived by early next week then I would like a full refund as they have no idea wen they will receive the part. I am now being told that I'm not initiled to refund as I excepted the repair. How does that work? Under the consumers act,I am invited to full refund under my 30 day warrenty, the car is unfit for purpose not repaired and is now causing me an inconvenience. I told him to cancel the part as I don't want it's taking to long to be repaired he is still refusing to do so. So where do i stand under the law?
