Ordered a tyre from Asda to replace one damaged by a pothole. The fitting agent put the tyre on ok, but I later noticed when I collected the car, that the lower load rating (91 not 94) had been supplied when I had ordered and paid for the higher rating. I contacted ASDA tyre customer services and was told there was nothing they could do - it was my fault for not checking the tyre before it was fitted (customers not allowed into the fitting bay!). There was not even an offer to refund the difference between the higher price I had paid and the price I should have been charged. Sale of Goods Act? Breach of Contract? First and last time of dealing with Colewood Automotive - I'm surprised ASDA haven't found a better company to represent them!!
