Ordered a 12:00-16:00 slot. I received a phone call at 15:30 asking me if I'd had a phone call to tell me that the tyres hadn't come in yet. No was the answer, I hadn't. I'd ordered 4 days previously. Could I have been called in the morning so I didn't wait around all afternoon? Yes I think I could. The guy on the phone was lovely and apologetic and we arranged for the tyres to be fitted on my next day off 2 days later, 08:00-12:00 slot. I can get my head around that, stuff happens. Can you guess what's coming? My next day off comes around and........A total no show, no tyres, no phone call, no explanation and another wasted day for me. In fact the first communication I received was an email asking me to review their service!!??!! It took a further 5 days to get refunded. I understand supply chain issues and can work with that. What I don't understand is the total and utter disrespect for the customers time evidenced by the lack of communication. Asda, serves you right.
