I've had wallets made of other materials and I needed a new wallet, so I decided to treat myself and try the "Fat Herbie" due to its layout and the Horween Shell Cordovan leather. The burgundy color is different from what I usually choose in a wallet but it is deep and rich, I was looking for a change and this wallet is it. Ordering was simple enough and the wallet was shipped in a couple of days. After receiving the wallet I filled the credit card pockets with 3 cards each and expect the leather to stretch and conform more. Being new, the wallet doesn't close flat and is somewhat stiff. I do love the smell and feel of the leather. I would hope to be able to follow-up on my review in the future.
