I cancelled my account, the person who took my call was very good, polite and helpful. I give his customer service 5 stars.
However, regarding beer52 and it's business practices around gifts and cancellations I think they could do a lot better. I was given a three-month subscription as a birthday gift. I was told I not able to simply use the three-month subscription, I was informed I would have to set up the subscription and cancel at the end of the term. I then tried to cancel via the website, you cannot, you either have to call or email/dm them. I waited on calling waiting for nearly 10min. It is clear why they have this cancellation strategy, it is a ploy to make it difficult to cancel. It is also very difficult to find on the site the information required to understand how to cancel.
Regarding the beers, they are nice enough, however, in my last batch I received 3 stouts, really not good!
I would not use beer52 again, I do not like their business practices and quite frankly I find them quite expensive.
