I've used Beer52 for a couple years now? 100 years? It's hard to remember in the pandemic. Shout out to Douglas in customer service for swiftly helping me pause my account for a few months (which has nothing to do with Beer52 itself).
Beer52 offers a great way to discover a variety of new brews and brewers when you can't stray far from home for a fairly reasonable price, and this was true even in "the before-times." The snacks and magazines are a nice added touch, as well.
My complaints about Beer52's service are: 1) you must make a phone call during working hours to get customer service beyond pausing your account for a month, which isn't the most convenient for working people, 2) you can only pause your account via the website once per month, which means you must make a phone call if you wish to pause for longer, 3) to cancel your subscription, you must make a phone call. Taking action in all 3 of these cases inconveniences busy people and results in added unpleasantness for busy phonephobes.
I've never had any issues with the deliveries that necessitated returns or refunds, apart from a single missing snack, which was credited to my account shortly after I emailed customer service about the issue.
