This product is not suitable for purchase as a gift. I ordered a 6 month subscription for my father in the UK. It seemed to be going relatively well, despite being able to give them limited/no preferences information, so he couldn't specify that he doesn't drink stouts, which went to friends. At the end of six months, I discovered on the website that I needed to call to cancel (from Australia, and was on hold for 15 minutes). I was then told that they needed to speak to him to cancel it, despite the fact that I set up the account and it's my payment information. The customer service rep on the phone was uninterested in helping us and just said we should email, saying this happens a lot. He didn't even apologise that this was a pain for us.
