Bensons’s for beds want me to pay a reselection fee of £240 as the mattress I purchased has sagged in the middle. I was not given the correct information from the salesperson, even though I informed him that I had specific requirements as I have terminal cancer. I have to live off a small industrial injuries pension as the cancer was caused by exposure to asbestos at my place of work. Is Bensons’s for Beds so disrespectful to their customers? Is the company so hard up it will not let me have a free replacement, which the 2015 Consumer Rights Act States ‘one FREE replacement’. Do you think that this is an honorable way to treat your customers?
