Went into the Reading store today with a large number of very good quality cds. I asked the woman at the till (who was busy on her phone) if she would accept them. The answer was ‘dunno s’ppose so’. I said if she couldn’t use them I could take them elsewhere. She grabbed them from me with not a word. My parting comment was ‘you’re welcome’. Part of me wanted to go back and retrieve them. It is the second time I’ve experienced this attitude. Needless to say I will not be returning there with anything in the future. I have always been supportive of this charity but no more.
