I have a pair of the Mayari sandals that were purchased in August 2023. The straps on both shoes broke at separate times this summer. Birkenstock’s repair service told me they were not able to be repaired. I found a cobbler who proved that wrong but it was still $30/shoe. For the original costs these shoes should last much longer and Birkenstock should offer some sort of warranty (but maybe they know they’re junk so that’s why they don’t).
