I recently ordered the Birkenstock Suede Clogs in Mauve (Ordered September 27, 2025), and I’m disappointed with my experience. When the shoes arrived, there were small sticky spots on the top of one clog, almost like dried gum. I had to carefully clean it off, which left one shoe visibly discolored and distorted — very upsetting for a brand-new pair.
To make matters worse, when I tried to process a return through the Birkenstock website, I was told my order was unavailable for return, even though I’m still within the 30-day window and I bought the idea at full price.
I hope Birkenstock will review this and provide a fair resolution, whether that’s an exchange or refund. I’ve always appreciated the brand’s quality, but this experience has been disappointing so far.
