BoHo Beautiful sort of snuck up on me, that is to say I randomly stumbled upon it from youtube.com and now I can't stop being involved!
Julianna's yoga workout in Jasper National Park came up, and I was intrigued by her doing yoga in the snow with these gorgeous mountains in the background.
I'm a bartender in NYC where I don't enjoy going out in the cold to get to the gym. Plus the commute alone demands extra time, work, and energy. So I am blessed to have Juliana's workouts come to me!
I do at least one of her yoga/pilates workouts 5-6x a week. If I feel like I just need to stretch, I'll do the one where she's in the Ukraine. I like this one cause it's just enough challenge to get the blood flowing in my body to counteract soreness but also easy enough to let my body 'breathe' between days of the harder workouts. I travel a lot so this one is also good for that.
When I want to have a full on sweat fest my favorite one to do is the one in Jasper. It's perfect to do before I leave for work if I am on a time crunch. It's only 20 minutes. Sometimes I don't have that kind of time, but doing the first 10 minutes is still productive.
My favorite ab one to do is a different one in Jasper. Man this one is incredible. She helps you work the upper abdominal for half of it, and then the lower abdominal the other half, while at the end has you plank with doing the side dips so you're working the obliques. It's only 10 minutes but that's more than enough!
At least once a week I do her Best Leg Toning workout in Maldives where I saw a noticeable difference after the first week in my gluts, and legs. This one is incredibly challenging but incredibly powerful.
I recently discovered her one in Waveland that I have currently been enjoying. My body 100 % looks more toned overall. I am also stronger too.
As for their plant based eating guide book I could not be more excited! I have been a pescatarian for health reasons since 2011. So I am more acquainted to the vegetarian family diet than most. However, I have been struggling to get motivated the last few years to cook for myself. I have tried looking up recipes on Pinterest but just couldn't get into it for whatever reason.
But feeling already attached to Juliana's no judgement, effective, and convenient workouts I felt led to dive into some of the recipes her and Mark came up with.
I have been so passionate and excited about this!
I headed to the Whole Foods that overlooks Bryant Park next to the NY public Library and bought a bunch of ingredients for the chocolate power balls, the strawberry chia pudding, and the vegan chocolate icecream. I brought the power balls to my coworker and she LOVED THEM. I also made her the icecream and she couldn't believe all the ingredients were plant based and healthy. My other friend who is a teacher and a coach at a highschool in the Bronx is onto BoHo Beautiful now as well. I plan to make the creamy avocado spaghetti next.
I like Juliana and Mark because they are choosing to live this life as they want it. It's obvious that they have had to make sacrifices in order to do that, which I respect the hell out of. It takes not only courage but also putting up with the discomfort that change can bring. They are doing this because they are passionate about it and it shows. In turn they have helped me and we've never even met. That's powerful
