I didn't have a bad experience, I had an absolutely terrible experience and I'm telling everyone about it, friends, social media, wherever, etc. Customer service is dreadful, but at least I eventually got a refund for my non-existent flight after writing a letter since it's so difficult to contact them any other way. Never mind all the additional costs I incurred because they failed to notify me that my flight was cancelled. We went to the airport in Tivat, Montenegro and were told that our Swiss Air flight to Amsterdam did not exist, and that Swiss Air doesn't fly out of that airport. We were meant to arrive in Amsterdam that evening, where we were going to have a lovely dinner with our son, daughter-in-law and grand daughter and had a reservation at a very nice and rather pricey Bed & Breakfast. After being told that our flight to Amsterdam didn't exist we booked a flight to Belgrade with hopes of getting a flight out of there to Amsterdam. Belgrade is a much larger airport and we had a better chance of getting something from there. Everything was booked that evening so we purchased tickets for the following morning. We then had to take a taxi to an airport hotel. Two tickets to Belgrade, taxi to the hotel, taxi back to the airport, two tickets to Amsterdam--we spent an additional $900 because of Budget Air's failure in every way. And of course, we missed out on our first night at our B&B in Amsterdam. This whole experience caused so much stress and anxiety--I will never use Budget Air again.
