After going through the LENGTHY process of applying for a simple pick/pack job, last thing to do was a medical check which was booked for next day. Next morning, to my disgust, a coles supervisor cancelled my medical & sent an email to tell me i was not successful for the position, due to my asking (was there somewhere closer I could go to have the medical done as the drive would take an hour 1 way) to which the response was no, i politely thanked the person & hung up. It was just a question which obviously made her feel as though her superiority had been attacked. The things people do for power! That being said, I'm so glad the planets aligned on this one & I'd say, there have most likely been many others that have had their time wasted.
