The unit looks ok although a few improvements are suggested as follows: - the light is very blue - would be useful to be able to order warm white or blue-white to match the rest of my kitchen lighting - the top front edges of the canopy are very sharp - I can see myself cutting my head on them at some point so have had to fit rubber buttons on the edges as a safety measure - better fitting instructions - not very clear - I worked it out eventually - better advice on duct sizes - it was a real pain to cut a 150mm dia hole through the wall and yet it probably isn't that important in terms of noise unless using it on full speed regularly - I reckon I could had used a 125 duct which would have been easier to cut - the flexible duct supplied is pretty useless and a waste of materials - within no time all the ripples in the duct would be full of gunk and would be very hard to clean - supply a plain straight duct - much easier to clean - the filter units are not sealed into the hood - they move about so grease will eventually get past the filters and into the unit itself - this will be difficult to clean internally - I might try and fit some seals myself - some rubber strips would solve this Apart from that it wasn't that expensive but I don't think the above would cost much to improve the product - overall it is ok but not sure I would buy this brand again with the above types of issues. As with many products these days, nobody seems to have tested the product on regular punters and gone back after a few months to see how it could be cleaned. Hopefully that is useful feedback.
