I purchased this dishwasher back in mid-July, and have been using it weekly. I connected mine directly to the kitchen faucet it cleans exceptionally well. You can choose to use dishwasher salts depending on water hardness or not if you live in a soft water area. I live in a soft water area but I still use it for optimal performance of my dishwasher. I like the feature where it opens the door after it's done washing and drying. It's a huge help to me. It comes well packed and tested before posting thus a tiny amount of water will be notice to touch only. Overall a fabulous dishwasher.
