The cake, my daughter said, was delicious, after it arrived a week later than I had originally wanted. It was so important to me to have it delivered on June 11th. I even paid extra to have it delivered that morning. 1 .It was my daughter’s birthday . 2 . Her son was having an operation that afternoon and she was understandingly very worried. I had had a recommendation for your cakes so decided that it would be a nice cheer up gift. I did not think that your response to my complaint when the cake was not delivered because it was lost by DFD was adequate or sympathetic , in the circumstances. My lovely surprise was spoilt. I arranged to have it delivered a week later, and although my daughter said it was delicious,I was still disappointed.
