We ordered a wedding cake from Cutter & Squidge. We were kept up to date with the delivery and an accurate tracking link, which did stop us worrying and chasing to see if the cake had been dispatched. Upon delivery though the cake was damaged (note always check the condition whilst the driver is there) so the cake was refused. As the cake was being delivered to parents this was without our knowledge and we were pretty worried about what happens next. I immediately called but could not get through to anyone after several attempts, which only escalated my worry level. I also sent an email, which was then automatically replied with a 2 day turnaround, but as we were leaving for the wedding the next day that added to the pressure. But then I was then called back (within 20 minutes of the email) and spoke to Hannah who was very helpful and informed me that the cake was on the way back to the bakery and would be back with us by 8pm that night. It got back to us in perfect condition by 5pm and all was well. I found this great customer service and even given this issue, which cannot be helped no matter how careful you are, would recommend this company. If I could suggest to C&S that this information be published, that would be even better and have stopped some more stress lines appearing on my forehead in the first place ;-)
