The cake itself was excellent and lasted moist and edible for quite a week at least. I was a little disappointed by the decoration which was a bit sparser than the picture(less runs down the side for example) and I also expected some of the icing to be hard, especially, the decoration. My husband's 80th birthday was on the 5th June which was a real problem with Jubilee weekend. I was sad we could not celebrate with a birthday cake!!
