We have ordered a full set of living room furniture (5 pieces) in one order. We received an email that all of the furniture will be delivered by dx. This sounded great. But! Two pieces were delivered by Hermes randomly on the day nobody was at home. After the complain and few phone calls, they left it in the garden. People are working in the week days, which many delivery companies did not realize yet!!! On Monday my husband took a day off and awaited delivery by DX. They delivered three pieces which one was damaged (apparently it fell from forklift) so we refused to accept the damaged delivery. Debenhams staff was supposed to contact us, but after a week waiting, my husband had to call them. They suggested to call back on Monday as they could not contact the warehouse. We will have to order the furniture again and pay again fir it. Then they will refund us the money back! Now what?!??! We can not stay at home again as we are working but we can not choose the day when we want the parcel to be delivered again. It is frustrating to order furniture with debenhams! Do not do it if you are not a housewife who has nothing else to do! Oxford
