On a day in late March, I ordered TWO rather good looking T-shirts from Decathlon using your Click & Collect system. You guys have all the numbers, cos I've deleted all my old mail now. I collected them on Monday 4th April, from the store in Giltbrook.
Brilliant service ... I thought.
I received an email asking me to collect the stuff. I ignored it. I received another email asking me to collect the stuff, I ignored that one too (I already had collected it).
Two days later I received an email telling me my order had been cancelled. I then read on ... it said you would refund my money.
Not a good system, I thought.
How to tell them I DO NOT want the money back, that would be dishonest. I looked all over the emails ... DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL ... it says everywhere!
How frustrating ... totally bloody frustrating!
Eventually on your website I found a Contact Us box. I wrote a little essay explaining it all. TWO days later I received an email from someone called Paula.
Dear Roy, Thank you for your honesty ...
Thank goodness you have humans working in Decathlon!
The T-shirts were only about 14 quid ... but I didn't want to be refunded, even though it was your system error!
I wonder whether a HUMAN will read this essay?
