I bought an item online and asked to collect if from the Croydon branch. The delivery was delayed and the item was needed before the weekend for a camping trip. I called the Croydon branch and they were very useful and said the item hadn't arrived, however there could be one on the shop floor. The woman went off, found said item and reserved it behind the til so I could pick it up before my trip.
I called customer services to see whether I could just pick up this item using my online reference but that wasn't possible. I had to call customer services and cancel my online order and then pay again in store. Quite a bit of hassle considering I had already paid and my item should've already arrived in store but was delayed.
I had paid put £40 for a £20 item and was told I would have a refund within a week or so. Three weeks passed still no refund. I had to call customer services again to ask about my refund only to be told it hadn't been submitted properly at their end.
Shop staff were friendly and I do like the store however I had a few issues with what should've been a straight forward order...
