Ordered new gear hanger after discussion with in store bike dept technician, to ensure it would fit. When it arrived (in a comically large padded envelope) I found it did not fit and returned it to the store. A suitable replacement was found and ordered and I was told I'd receive a call when the part arrived. The technician, who was the same guy I had spoken to a few days earlier, apologised for my wasted time and travel and offered to fit the hanger and give my bike a service free of charge. The call didn't come, but when I phoned I was told the part was in and asked to bring in my bike. The work was carried out in a couple of days and I received my bike back in tip top condition.
