Shopping over internet is easy and convenient.
However returning items for whatever reason is not so conducive to your peace of mind.
Finding somewhere nearby that will take your parcel to send back is challenging.
If returning to a store FORGET IT.
Different stores seem to have different policies. ie;
Exchange only, (even if you have already purchased a replacement item on line, to be collected at that store) so you end up with two identical items instead of one.
Credit Note, to be used in that store only (within a time frame).
Amount credited to your account, but only if they can find a member of staff with the authority to this.
Amount credited back to your CARD, but..... again, only if they can find someone to check your original transaction, then authorise this.
If really really persistent you may be lucky and actually get a cash refund, but only if it is a low value item.
So, go ahead and order online for convenience, (I will again)
BUT make sure the sizing is right for you.
Or be prepared to possibly waste a few hours of your life trying to correct your error.
