I am a doordash driver. Unfortunately we are the individuals blamed for most of the mistakes made by the restaurants and the doordash apps. Sometimes the maps take us to the wrong address, the restaurant messes up the order or the customer gives us the wrong address. They will forget to give us the gate code, or apartment number, or gave us their work address instead of their home address. Traffic, construction, bad weather, many things can contribute to a less then perfect experience. But please know that most drivers want you to be happy, we want to get it right but sometimes outside forces beyond our control can play a large part in the overall experience. I have been with the company for over 6 years, I enjoy it very much but I have seen many different scenarios and the most important thing is patience on the part of the driver and the customer.
