I personally have never had an issue with my order. My mother in law on the other hand does. I tip. She doesn’t. My food is always on time. Hers always comes late. I called support on her behalf and they said Dashers are not “required” to accept a delivery and they probably won’t if there is not a tip added or a low tip due to the amount of miles they have to drive to deliver. So basically no tip/low tip=no/late delivery. And she also pointed out the restaurants make the food and leave it there until it gets picked up so it’s probably going to be cold since no one wants to pick it up. I really don’t care for my mother in law so I’m not sad about her issues and her experience doesn’t reflect mine but now she knows if she is gonna be cheap, she is gonna be sad. Me. I very rarely have to wait for mine. It’s always on time and I never get a rude dasher.
