I have used DoorDash many times and except for a few glitches it has been fine.
Here is why I am giving this low review.
-my apt complex is in area that has many different complexes that are off of a main rd. Mine however are not mixed in with those. I have put detailed location instructions on the website which I have been told by drivers works very well. For some reason the drivers rarely access this and end up in the other highly populated area of apts by following the map on the doordash website.
-My latest problem however has caused me to change to Uber eats. On Nov 1st I ordered a meal then decided to add an additional item. I followed the prompt on the website and added the item. When the driver came she had two meals and I questioned this as I thought she had given me someone else’s order. She advised that she had to deliver according to her information regardless of what I told her. The problem was that when I added the item it doubled my entire order. I checked my bank account a few days later to see if they had credited my account. I assumed they had been advised by the driver and backed out one of the orders. I called them and told them what happened but was told since I had received 2 meals I had to pay for them both. I pointed out that their system caused this and I expected a refund for one of the orders because I paid twice as much as I intended.
I would like a call as I rarely use my email.
