I was worried about trying door dash at first because of all the bad reviews, but was hungry and don't have a car. Also, too cold outside for me to want to walk anywhere. I made an order online, and right away, there was a window updating me on my food's adventure. (Ordered, driving to restaurant, picking food up etc...) It showed a map during the process with how close the delivery driver was to me and also the name and number of the driver in case I had to reach them. The food got to my place for when I wanted it, it was still super hot and the driver was nice and left quickly. I'm very glad I tried this service and will absolutely be using it again. Maybe I was just lucky? I also pre-tipped on the website, so maybe that helps with motivation as well.
