Ordered some doors and handles etc from door supplies online based on their website promise of fast delivery and their extortionate delivery costs.
You’d assume it would be very quick wouldn’t you?
Wrong!
It takes them a day or 2 to get in touch to arrange the delivery and then tells me it’s going to be over a week nearly 10 days.
I managed to source my doors etc elsewhere and within an hour of arranging the door delivery I requested they cancel the order completely.
This took nearly 2 days to receive a response by which point the handles etc had been despatched. This is interesting because I had received no confirmation that the handles had been sent nor did I realise the handles would not come with the delivery of the doors.
I’ve now been charged 30% restocking fee after having to send the handles back at my cost because they’re too slow to respond to a refund request.
They should have told me when they responded to the refund request that I would have been charged 30% restocking fee for something that I didn’t want and asked not to be sent…which I still find ludicrous.
My request for the email to be escalated to a manager was also ignored.
However they are quick enough to respond to be rude to me and have a poor attitude when it comes to telling me how much I’m being ripped off!
Oh and they apparently charge £60 for handles to be delivered which I’ve also lost!
A company should not advertise fast delivery and charge a fortune if they cannot provide you tracking for all of your shipments.
Not if they can’t actually provide fast delivery in a world of next day delivery!
I actually ordered and received what I needed from another supplier in the time it took them to respond to my refund request!
Rude staff, poor service!
Rip off merchants!
