I completed the CeMAP Certificate in Mortgage Advice (Modules 1, 2 & 3) and passed my final exam in February 2024. I was stuck in a job I no longer enjoyed, and was extremely inflexible for my young family. I was constantly looking for something else to do. I looked to do the course and exams a few years back but they came with a high cost. When I saw e-careers were doing the course for free, I thought it was too good to be true. I thought I’d apply and see if anything came of it. Throughout the course I was waiting for someone to send a bill, but it really was completely free. After passing my exams, I decided to put the course to use, and left my employment, I am now coming up to 9 months being a self-employed mortgage advisor and would not look back! I would not have been able to do this without e-careers and Cardiff and Vale college funding it. I’m loving my new path!
